Heather has sold over 100 homes!
Heather Imig collects houses literally. She and her recently retired Army hubby have owned more than 20 homes (NOT a typo) over the last decade. Since buying her first home in Massachusetts at the age of 23, Heather has been hooked on short-term rentals and flipping homes as an income strategy. She often jokes that it’s an expensive hobby, but it’s also proved to be an extremely profitable one.
Now her ultimate passion is helping others buy and sell their most lucrative assets. She promised herself she’d never “wish for Friday again” and truthfully, she loves her job so much she’s managed to do just that. A fierce negotiator, Heather’s on a mission to get you top dollar for your home or help you get the best deal possible on your dream or investment property. She solemnly swears: She will do her best to always answer the phone when you call, and she’ll never let you make a bad investment.
She and her husband have bought, remodeled, and sold enough homes across the country to know how much things should cost, which comes in very handy when you’re buying a fixer upper or preparing to sell your home. During the rare moments when she’s not working, you might catch a glimpse of Heather hiking, or going for a leisurely tube down the river. Home Goods is practically her second home and staging homes according to the season is one of her favorite hobbies. She loves boating, swimming, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her husband and two young kiddos.
Currently binge-watching: Yellowstone and various real estate trainings and podcasts. In her ear buds: The “Short Term Rental Secrets” podcast.
Things She Does Every Day: First we drink coffee, have a morning work out, and she chats with her husband, various MLS check-ins for her clients and for good investments across the country. Goes out for some showings, and listing appointments, then if there is time, she goes for a swim or tubes the river with the kids if the weather is nice.
When she’s not working, you’ll find her. Cooking, decorating, quilting, hiking with her family and their adorable Vizslas, traveling to their homes in Oregon, Montana, Tennessee and South Carolina, and spending time with close friends.
Three things she’d bring to a deserted island: A boat, a fire starter and a distiller to make fresh water, and maybe some coconut rum.
Interesting Facts: Heather and her family were honored to host an Afghan family (dad, mom and their two kiddos, ages 6 and 2) for a few months in 2021. Her husband worked with them while in Afghanistan and it was a pleasure to host them and help them acclimate to life in the United States.
Heather also played on the 2005 National Champion field hockey team for The University of Massachusetts Lowell, and was a wine sales rep in downtown Boston after college.
